Buttock Lift
Weight loss and aging may lead to excess skin and sagging underlying tissues in the buttock region causing it to appear flat or hanging disproportionately just above the buttock fold. A buttock lift can be performed to lift sagging buttock tissue to produce a younger, firmer, and more toned appearance. Flatter buttocks can be sculpted to become more round and firm. The incisions for a buttock lift are placed at the top of the buttock and hidden in the bikini line.
To improve the volume of the buttocks, augmentation procedures may be necessary. Buttock augmentation can be performed by one of two ways: buttock implants or fat grafting (also known as the Brazilian Butt Lift). With the Brazilian buttock lift, microfat grafting is performed by liposuctioning fat deposits from one area of the body which is then re-injected into the buttocks to increase volume and to produce a more shapely contour.
