"Ablative and non-ablative laser or light wavelengths can create thermal tissue injury which accelerates the wound-healing process. Fibroblasts generate new collagen, plumping the skin and correcting skin imperfections. After a procedure, dermal collagen matrix rejuvenation causes visible wrinkles, scars, tone and texture to soften or be eliminated." -Sciton

The use of lasers can significantly improve the appearance of the skin. Laser procedures are minimally invasive and are easily performed in the office. Only topical anesthesia is typically used. Notice the clearing of the skin in the post-procedure photograph (on right). Lasers are used to tighten the skin, shrink pore size, and soften wrinkles, pigmentation, and acne scarring.

This patient underwent full face laser resurfacing. Notice the textural improvements in the skin in the post-procedure photograph (right), especially around the mouth and in the cheek region below the eyes. At Reviance, we use a very safe, effective laser system designed to enhance the skin in all areas of the body. The most popular areas for laser treatment include the face, neck, hands, and decolletage regions.
